Five weeks set aside for gravel pit hearing
The Ontario Municipal Board has set aside five weeks in May for the hearing about the proposed Aikensville gravel pit.
The hearing will commence on May 20 at 11am at the Puslinch Community Centre in Aberfoyle. There is also a one day pre-hearing scheduled for Feb. 7 at 10am, also at the community centre.
The pit application by Capital Paving Inc., is opposed by a group of approximately 40 nearby landowners. Puslinch Township will also be a participant in the hearing.
