Firefighters assist MRI campaign
CLIFFORD – Dan Hill, centre left, and Mark Leslie, centre right, MRI campaign co-chairs for the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation attended the Clifford Fire Station on Oct. 11 to receive a $5,000 gift towards the campaign.
“Every dollar raised moves us closer to our $8-million campaign goal,” notes foundation development officer Dale Franklin.
Operational funding for a magnetic resonance imaging machine at the hospital in Palmerston was announced in December of 2022 by the provincial health ministry. However, the cost of purchasing the equipment and construction work to accommodate it is up to the hospital, with the support of the foundation.
