Final liaison meeting on Centre Wellington Tier 3 Water Budget Study is Sept. 2

CENRTE WELLINGTON – The sixth, and final, Community Liaison Group (CLG) meeting on the Centre Wellington Tier 3 Water Budget Study will be held online on Sept. 2 at 6:30pm.

The Lake Erie Source Protection Region has moved all CLG meetings to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Members of the public can view the Sept. 2 meeting, which will focus on draft water quantity policies within Wellhead Protection Areas, at www.sourcewater.ca/CW-Tier3/CLG.

"The CLG provides a forum for stakeholders and residents to provide feedback during the study, as well as receive information about the project’s progress," officials stated in an Aug. 27 press release.

"In addition to the project team, the CLG is composed of representatives from various sectors, including: business, large water users, agriculture, environment and the general public."
