Fergus woman dies in two-vehicle crash in Erin
ERIN – A Fergus woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash here on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene, on Wellington Road 125 at Halton-Erin Townline, southeast of Ospringe, on June 6 at about 6am.
Wellington County OPP officials say a southbound SUV was struck by a passenger vehicle traveling westbound on Halton-Erin Townline.
"The driver and lone occupant of the passenger vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries," police stated in a press release.
"The driver of the SUV, a 60-year-old of Fergus, was transported to a local hospital where sadly, they were pronounced deceased."
Two other occupants of the SUV were transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
