Fergus Lions and Reliable Ford make holiday donation to Centre Wellington Food Bank

Big cheque – The Fergus Lions Club and Nicole McCabe (left, behind cheque) from Reliable Motors handed over a cheque for $2,500 to Centre Wellington Food Bank manager Jackie Andrews (right, behind the cheque) on Dec. 2. The funds were raised through the Lions Club’s toy drive, although gift cards were the preferred way to donate this year. Donations were dropped off at Reliable Ford. The food bank normally sees an increase in usage over the holiday season and this year demand has increased by 30%. The Lions Club, Reliable Ford and the food bank thank everyone for participating in making the holidays a little brighter for families in need.
