The Fergus library expansion project will begin in July.

In preparation for construction, the last day of service at the current location will be Friday, June 7.

Library service will resume at the temporary branch, located at 181 St. Andrew St. E., on June 13 at 10am.

Holds not picked up by June 7 will be available for pickup at the temporary location starting on June 13.

Materials can still be renewed by phone or through an online account.

Outside book drops will be available at both locations until the end of June. After June, items will need to be returned to the temporary location or to another branch.

Site preparation and construction work will begin in July with a new and expanded library expected to open in late 2014.
