Fergus Legion awards winners of Remembrance Day poster and literary contest
Awards - Royal Canadian Legion Branch 275 Fergus held its award presentation for the Remembrance Day poster and literary contest during its general meeting on Jan. 18. Prizes and certificates were presented to the winners from the Fergus schools for Zone C-3. From left - Keisha Vanleewen, 1st place senior black and white poster, President Brian Beilby, Liah Fry, 1st place intermediate black and white poster, Kenzie Dykstra, 3rd place junior colour poster, Austin Bultina, 2nd place intermediate poem, and Comrade Fred Nightingale, Youth Education Chair.
