Fergus Curling Club takes annual general meeting outside
Outdoor meeting - The Fergus Curling Club offered an alternative format for its annual general meeting on Sept. 9. With the ongoing COVID-19, president Bonnie Talbot chose to hold the AGM outside in the parking lot beside the club. The main purpose of the meeting was to elect directors and to find a way to open the club this fall for a full season of curling. That decision was left with a committee to come up with a solution. Calum McGeachie will be the new president for the 2020-21 season. Donna Bessey and Bill Longshaw both received life memberships. Photo by Bill Longshaw
