Fergus Brownies, Guides make food bank donations

Food bank donation - The 2nd Fergus Brownies, RIGHT, and 2nd Fergus Guides recently made donations to the Centre Wellington Food Bank.  Both units were working towards their Your Action badge; a badge geared towards getting the girls involved in helping their community and to “be the change.” On an evening in early April, the Brownie unit went door to door collecting food donations, which were then donated to the food bank. The Guides gathered monetary donations for several weeks in March. With those donations the girls purchased items to include in Birthday Party boxes, which included decorations, plates, cups, cake mix/frosting, treats, everything needed for a birthday party).  Submitted photo
