Extensive damage after car hits washroom building

FERGUS – On April 18 Wellington County OPP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Belsyde Avenue East in Fergus.

Police say a purple hatchback struck an out-building in a park at outside the Fergus sportsplex causing extensive damage to both the vehicle and the building.

Ryan Alexander Halliday, 22, of Fergus, was charged with dangerous driving.
