ROCKWOOD – The East Wellington Family Health Team (EWFHT) are hosting free workshops throughout July and August.
Officials note, classes are run virtually, in-person or both, and to check the type when registering.
July workshops include:
– July 8, 5 to 6pm, The mediterranean diet for good health (virtual);
– July 23, 1:30 to 3pm, Rural care partner support group;
– July 24, 12 to 1pm, Understanding pre-diabetes (virtual); and
– July 31, 5 to 6pm, Heart health (Erin clinic).
Participants will be provided with a link and instructions to join the virtual workshops.
Virtual guests will need a computer, tablet or smart phone to access (camera not required).
An email address to register and access the webinar will also be needed.
August workshops include:
– Aug. 6, 6:30 to 7:30pm, How to avoid frailty (Erin clinic);
– Aug. 19, 10:30 to 11:30am, Feeding your baby: introducing solid food (Rockwood clinic); and
– Aug. 27, 1:30 to 3pm, Rural care partner support group.
