Event raised $4,000 for troop fund
The Colonel John McCrae Branch Legion is thanking everyone for the support demonstrated at the Valentine’s Day dinner and dance to raise money for the Troop Morale Fund.
That fund aims to give every Canadian soldier serving in Afghanistan a Tim Hortons coffee and doughnut every two weeks.
The branch also holds a Sunday dinner bi-weekly for $10 per person - tax included.
