Erin man charged with sexual assault, sexual exploitation
Police have now identified a man charged two weeks ago with an alleged sexual assault against a young person here.
On Dec. 19 Dufferin-Caledon OPP officers arrested and charged an Erin man with sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
At the time, police stated they were not identifying the accused to protect the identity of the victim.
However, on Jan. 3, police identified the man as David J.C. Brooks, 34, of Erin.
He is to appear in Orangeville court on Jan. 25.
Police are asking anyone that may have had “similar contact” with the accused to contact Detective Constable Gurpreet Singh of the Caledon OPP at 905-584-2241or toll free at 1-888-310-1122.
