Environmental scientist is Green Party candidate

Puslinch resident Dr. Dave Rodgers, an environmental scientist and consultant, is the Green Party of Ontario candidate for Wellington-Halton Hills in the June 12 provincial election.

Rodgers’ work spans a wide range of projects relating to the assessment and mitigation of the effects of utility operations on the environment, particularly the aquatic environment.

Since 2009, Rodgers has worked as an independent environ-mental consultant through his firm, Aberfoyle AquaScience.

Rodgers is a director of the Friends of Mill Creek, a volunteer, community-based organization dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the watershed of Mill Creek, a cold-water stream which flows through Puslinch Township.

He joined the Green Party several years ago, but this is his first trial as a candidate.
