NORTH BAY - The Elora Fergus Ringette Association provincial U14A team won bronze in the top tier at Provincials in North Bay, March 14 to 17.

The bench staff is immensely proud of this small but mighty team of girls, finishing 3rd in Ontario.

Thanks to a successful season of three golds and one silver at tournaments throughout the province, along with a 17-3-3 record, the Edge team was seeded in the top division.

During provincials the team won five of their six round robin games, securing a place in the semi-finals, where they were defeated.

The team headed into the bronze medal game determined to bring home a medal.

They had a hard-fought game against Forest, with a 5-4 win.

The team would like to thank their fans for all their support at provincials and for Brodericks Fashion for sponsoring the association with new jerseys for the tournament.
