ELECTIONS 2010: Public shows little interest in trustee race

One candidate didn’t show up, one was acclaimed, and nobody had any questions.

That appears to be the way people consider the school board trustee positions – at least in Belwood.

Upper Grand District School Board acclaimed trustee thanked everyone for their trust in him.

Steven Kitras, running for the Wellington Catholic School Board, talked about how he has grown his glass business to the point it is the largest. He cited his faith, and his desire to work in the community for his church and his school.

His opponent, James Coffey, was unable to attend the meeting.

When the moderator asked if there were any questions of the candidates, there were none.
