Eight candidates vie for Perth Wellington seat

Voters in this riding will have eight candidates to choose from when it comes time to mark their ballot for the 2018 provincial election.

Nominated as of the May 17 filing deadline are:

- incumbent Progressive Conservative MPP Randy Pettapiece;

- Liberal Brendan Knight, of Stratford;

- Stratford resident Michael O’Brien of the NDP;

- Green Party candidate Lisa Olsen;

- Libertarian candidate Scott Marshall of Harriston;

- Arthur resident Paul McKendrick of the newly-registered Consensus Ontario party;

- Rob Smeenk, representing the Freedom Party of Ontario; and

- Andrew Stanton of the newly-founded Alliance party.
