Drug, threat charges
MOUNT FOREST – A local man is facing five charges after an incident at a restaurant last week.
Wellington County OPP officials say police responded to “a disturbance” at a restaurant in Mount Forest, “where an individual was being irate towards employees.”
Raymond Cote, 35, of Mount Forest, was charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance (methamphetamine), failure to comply with a prohibition order, being intoxicated in a public place and two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on Nov. 24.
