GUELPH/ERAMOSA – One person was sent to hospital with "life-altering" injuries following a collision between a car and motorcycle here on Sunday evening.

Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the crash, on Highway 7 at the Woolwich-Guelph Townline, on Aug. 7 at about 6:30pm.

"Initial reports indicated that a motorcycle and a sedan had collided and that the rider of the motorcycle was seriously injured," police stated in a press release.

"A 61-year-old driver from Guelph was transported to a trauma centre with life-altering injuries.

"The driver of the sedan and two passengers were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."
