GUELPH-ERAMOSA – The driver of an SUV that collided head-on with a tractor trailer three weeks ago has died.

Police announced on July 15 that Barbara Manning, 59, of Guelph-Eramosa, died on July 9 as a result of injuries sustained in the collision

On June 24 at about 9:50am emergency crews responded to a serious vehicle collision on Wellington Road 29, just south of Wellington Road 124.

Police say a northbound SUV lost control and collided head-on with a southbound tractor trailer.

Manning was originally taken to a local hospital in “stable condition,” police say.

The driver of the transport truck was not injured.
