Drayton Entertainment presents 42nd Street
CAMBRIDGE – Drayton Entertainment will be hosting 42nd Street until July 19 at the Hamilton Family Theatre.
The show kicked off on July 2 and is based on the novel by Bradford Ropes and the Warner Bros motion picture 42nd Street owned by Turner Entertainment Co.
Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York City in search of her big break, catches the eye of director Julian Marsh and gets hired as a chorus girl in his next big-budget extravaganza ... much to the dislike of the show’s star, Dorothy Brock. But when the leading lady literally breaks a leg, Peggy might have a shot at stardom.
