Wellington Road 109 (Elora Street South) in Harriston will be closed from Highway 89 (Arthur Street) south to Mill Street beginning on Monday, May 25. Later in the summer the closure will extend to Young Street.
There are two separate detour routes for traffic to travel around the closure. Traffic heading north bound will turn right at Young Street and left at King Street to get back to Highway 89.
South bound traffic will turn right at Highway 89 and left at Mill Street to get back to Elora Street for the first part of the closure. When the road closes to Young Street, south bound traffic will turn right at Highway 89, left at Margaret Street South and left at Young Street to get back to Elora Street. All detour routes will be marked by signage.
The Town of Minto has arranged for additional downtown parking and organized a number of promotions and local merchants will remain open for business throughtout the construction. For more information go to: http://harristondigginit.ca.
