Dementia workshop in Erin on May 8
The Alzheimer Society of Guelph-Wellington and East Wellington Community Services are presenting a workshop on all the things people need to know about Dementia on May 8 from 1 to 4pm at the Senior’s Centre at Centre 2000 (14 Boland Drive) in Erin.
Topics that are covered will include a brain tour and changes associated with dementia and what those changes mean, how to enhance interactions and minimize stress.
Personal stories will be shared by three women about living with dementia and the various aspects of this disease.
The afternoon will include handouts and refreshments will be provided.
