GUELPH – Guelph Little Theatre’s (GLT) annual community holiday play this year is Norm Foster’s Dear Santa.
It runs Dec. 1 through 10 on the main stage.
In this comedy for the whole family, Santa Claus tries to fulfill a child’s special Christmas wish while his staff attempts to overcome a supply shortage at the North Pole.
Long-time director Joe Rose makes his local directing debut with the theatre for this production.
While he predominantly works with adult actors, Rose shares his vast experience with the cast of adults and kids alike.
The holiday show is an experience for performers to work with a large group of other actors of varying ages, and try portraying different characters.
It is not uncommon for generations in the same family to be involved in the show.
Grandparents, parents and their kids have a wonderful time celebrating the season with the GLT holiday show.
Tickets are $12 for kids and seniors over 60, and $17 for adults. Tickets can be purchased through the box office, starting one hour before showtime or online at: thelittleboxoffice.com/guelphlittletheatre.
