'Dangerous' route for local students
On May 27, in response to concerns raised by residents and elected officials in Guelph-Eramosa, the Upper Grand District School Board approved a motion presented by its vice-chairman and local trustee Ralph Edwards.
The motion directs the manager of transportation for Wellington- Dufferin student transportation services and board staff to investigate the hazardous walking issue in Rockwood
The investigation will include possibly designating the route as “dangerous,” and the implications, costs, and possible solutions involved.
The report will be presented at the June 24 board meeting.
