Cyclists to support Special Olympics
On Oct. 9, 70 bicycle riders will be making their way through town in an effort to raise $80,000 for Special Olympics.
In support of the event, the OPP Golden Helmets will again be escorting them throughout their journey from Oakville to Beaver Valley.
The riders will be making a stop in the RBC parking lot where there will be a tent set up to offer bottled water to the riders.
They are expected anytime between 11 and 11:30am.
