CWDHS field lacrosse team wins CWOSSA Championship

FERGUS – The Centre Wellington District High School (CWDHS) field lacrosse team captured the CWOSAA Championship on May 24.

The boys team defeated Owen Sound in a lopsided final CWOSSA (Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association) game at the Fergus high school.

CWDHS now moves on to the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Championships.

The OFSAA tournament will be held in Peterborough on June 5 and 6.
