Crime of the Week

At about 1:50pm on Oct. 27, an attempted theft took place at a business located at 124 George Street in Arthur.

Two males entered the store, one of them remaining at the front of the store to distract the store clerk while the other male entered the storage room at the back of the store. The clerk approached the second male, who exited the room, joined the first male at the front of the store and dropped the product he was carrying onto the counter. Then the two males left the store.

Male number one is described as white, 35 to 40 years of age, clean shaven, brown short hair, wearing as blue shirt and jeans. Male two is described as white, 35 years of age, clean shaven, brown short hair, wearing a black coat and blue jeans.
