FERGUS – At about 11:45pm on July 3, an act of mischief occurred at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on St. David Street North here.

Three people were walking northbound on St. David Street, when one person left the group and walked across the church parking lot towards an exterior light fixture.

The individual kicked the light, knocking it off its base and across the parking lot. The damage is estimated at $5,000.

The suspect (seen in photo, above right) is described as white male with dark hair, wearing a light blue T-shirt, dark shorts, white socks, and tan/light sneakers, and carrying a large bag of chips.
