Sometime between Jan. 27 and 28, a theft occurred from an aviary on the 1st Line, northwest of Acton.

Stolen was a golden eagle show bird, brown in colour with white flecks, about three years of age, 2’5” tall, weighing 13 pounds.

The bird is valued at about $15,000.
