Crime of the Week

At about 3am on Feb. 3, a suspected arson occurred at a vacant farm structure on Highway 7 near Woolwich-Guelph Townline here.

A second fire occurred not long after at an abandoned residence located on Township Road 3, about 3km from the first blaze.

Police suspect that a vehicle seen travelling north on Township Road 3 at a high rate of speed at the time of the fires may be involved. The OPP has described the vehicle as a small compact car.
