County's recent backyard composter and rainbarrel sale days a success
On, May 23, hundreds of County residents attended the Solid Waste Services backyard composter and rain barrel truckload sale held in 3 locations across the county.
The weather was great and spirits were high as residents scooped up 1,000 backyard composters and over 1,500 rain barrels.
Those residents who were disappointed because the composters were sold out by late morning can pick up a composter at the county’s regular price of $30 at any of the seven waste facilities.
