County set to host remembrance ceremony on Nov. 5
Tribute to the fallen – Over 500 memorial poppy markers have been installed on the lawn of the Wellington County Museum and Archives in Aboyne to commemorate Wellington County’s war dead, from the First World War to Afghanistan. Tribute to the fallen – Over 500 memorial poppy markers have been installed on the lawn of the Wellington County Museum and Archives in Aboyne to commemorate Wellington County’s war dead, from the First World War to Afghanistan. The county was set to host its annual remembrance ceremony on Nov. 5 at 10:30am. On Nov. 10 at 5:30pm candles will be placed by each marker and remain lit until Nov. 12.
