Council to begin talks on 2019 budgets

ELORA - Public input on Centre Wellington’s 2019 draft operating and capital budget begins in early February.

Council will deliberate the budgets on:

- Feb. 6 from 9am to 6:30pm (staff presentations begin at 9am and delegations begin at 5pm); and

• Feb. 7, 13 and 14 (if required) from 9am to 4pm.

The public is invited to attending the meetings.

To speak on Feb. 6, residents must register as a delegate by contacting clerk Kerri O’Kane at 519-846-9691 x 243 no later than noon on Feb. 1.

All discussions will take place in the council chamber at the municipal office.

A copy of the 2019 draft operating budget will be available for public review on the township website by Jan. 30.

Final operating and capital budgets will be brought to council on Feb. 25 for final consideration.
