Corey Conners honoured with installation at Listowel Golf Club

LISTOWEL – A new installation has officially been unveiled at the Listowel Golf Club celebrating PGA Tour winner Corey Conners.

This life-size photo opportunity “honours Conners’ inspiring journey from the greens of rural Ontario to golf’s biggest stages around the world,” officials stated in a press release.

“More than a fun photo op, the installation is part of Perth County’s broader strategy to create engaging, shareable tourism experiences in rural communities,” they continued. “It celebrates local pride, draws visitors to the region, and contributes to the vibrancy of Perth County’s tourism economy.”

The project was made possible through the Government of Ontario’s Rural Economic Development (RED) funding program, which supports initiatives that drive growth, tourism, and prosperity in small communities.

“Corey and his wife Mallory Conners continue to give back to the community that shaped them,” officials stated. “Through their quiet philanthropy and local involvement, they’ve supported numerous initiatives and programs that make Listowel a better place to live and visit.”

Perth County director of economic development and tourism Meredith Forget stated “This project is about more than golf – it’s about celebrating community, creating experiences, and highlighting the people who make this place special.

“Corey and Mallory have shown incredible generosity to their hometown, and this installation gives visitors a chance to be part of that story.”

Perth Warden Doug Kellum stated “Corey Conners represents the very best of Listowel—talent, humility, and connection to community.

“We’re proud to honour him in this way and excited to see this new feature boost local pride and tourism.”
