Construction equipment, signs damaged in Drayton
DRAYTON – Police are looking for help to identify the person responsible for causing damage at a construction site here recently.
Wellington County OPP officials say police responded to the Simmons Bridge on Wellington Street North in Drayton on July 15 at about 9am.
“On at least two occasions during the overnight hours between [July 13 and 15], unknown suspect(s) attended the site, moved signage and caused damage to construction equipment and other site property,” stated an OPP press release. “Police are actively conducting an ongoing investigation and are appealing to the public for assistance.”
