Conn man charged after trees stolen

KENILWORTH – A Conn man has been charged in connection with the recent theft of trees here.

On July 9 at about 12pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a theft that had just occurred on Sideroad 6 in Kennilworth. 

“It was reported that several trees valued at approximately $750 had been stolen from the property,” police stated in a press release.

“Officers were provided with a picture of the suspect vehicle and license plate. They were later able to locate the involved vehicle and recovered the stolen trees.” 

Bryce Johnathon Shaw, 24, of Conn, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime (under $5,000). He is to appear in Guelph court on Sept. 1.
