Community clean up planned for April 19 in Clifford
The Clifford and District Horticultural Society youth gardeners will soon be posting some rather creative posters around the village calling on residents to participate in the annual town clean up day.
Participants will meet at the Rotary Pavillion Park at 10am on April 19 and will be treated to a barbecue after the cleanup.
Card party
Euchre and solo players met in the community hall in Clifford on March 13 for the last horticultural society card party of the season.
In euchre, Helen Braun was the high lady, Audrey Dickert low lady, Larry Grummett high man, and Vic Palmer low man. In solo, Jean Yenssen was high lady, Mary Mighton low lady, Bruce Kaufman high man, and Reinhard Lange low man.
Helen Braun, Irene Judge, and Arthena Underwood prepared a luncheon.
