College Royal celebrates 100 years
GUELPH – Ontario agriculture minister Lisa Thompson spoke at the opening ceremony of the 100th anniversary of the College Royal at the University of Guelph on March 16. Thompson shared stories of her time at the local institution and her experience with entering her rescue cat into a cat show while a student. University president and vice-chancellor Charlotte Yates as well as Guelph Mayor Cam Guthrie also addressed the crowd.
