Children's program updates

With September here, the East Wellington Community Services children’s program returns to its regular schedule.

Of note, the Erin Playgroup, which started Sept. 5, is back to being offered two days per week. The program will run both Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30am at the Erin Anglican Church.

The Hillsburgh Playgroup returned every Wednesday at St. Andrew’s Church in Hillsburgh, starting Sept. 4.

Both programs are free and open to children from birth to six-years-old and their parents or caregivers. The children can enjoy crafts, puzzles, toys, books and circle time.

Officials say these groups are a great way to have fun with children and socialize with other parents. Organizers hope to meet new friends and catch up with those returning to the programs after the summer.
