Charity game raises $1,800
A charity hockey game here in March raised $1,800 for young burn victims.
Mapleton firefighters laced up the blades against a team of Wellington County OPP officers at the PMD Arena on March23.
Proceeds of the game went to Camp Bucko, which provides an opportunity for children recovering from burn injuries to meet other children who share similar feelings and experiences.
