Changes to NWHC board
Changes to the board of directors were announced at North Wellington Health Care’s (NWHC) annual general meeting on June 18. NWHC welcomed new members Marion Redpath and Dr. Terry Fisk.
Dr. Chris Cressey was appointed as the new NWHC chief of staff. Dr. Cressey is an experienced Minto family physician at the Palmerston and District Hospital.
Accolades were given to retiring board members Bob Becker and Dr. Simon Goodall the former chief of staff and Patti-Jo McLellan Shaw who had served 12 consecutive years on the board.
“I am pleased to announce that we have all the vacancies filled on the board and look forward to working with the new 2015/16 board of directors,” says Tom Sullivan, board chair.
Jerry Drier of BDO Canada LLP in Mount Forest, presented the auditor’s report on the audited financial statements as of March 31. NWHC’s year ended with a small surplus.
