Chamber celebrates business excellence at annual general meeting in Palmerston

PALMERSTON – The Minto Chamber of Commerce celebrated local business excellence and the chamber’s 25th anniversary at the organization’s annual general meeting on Feb. 21. During the event, held at the Palmerston Legion, business milestones were recognized for:

– Palmerston Foodland owners Ron and Heather McTaggart, who are retiring after 10 years in business;

– Angie Christensen of Teenie Tiny Tots on 15 years in business; and

– Blessings to You Centre for  expansion to three storefronts.

Excellence in Business awards were presented to:

– John and Patty Mock of Harriston Home Hardware;

– Grant and Amy Habermehl of Grant’s Service Centre;

– Caitlin Hall of Reroot Organic Farm; and

– Lacey Koeslag of Elora Street Flowers.

Dr. Terry Fisk of Harriston Veterinary Service, who retired after nearly 50 years in business, was also recognized.
