Centre Wellington spring town hall meeting on April 22

The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) is partnering with Centre Wellington to present the second of four seasonal town hall meetings in 2015.

This is the fourth year for the CWCC to host a town hall meeting to address the issues affecting the business community and the combined format is designed to further enhance engagement with the businesses and the community.

The spring town hall meeting is April 22 from 7pm to 9pm at the Fergus Grand Theatre.

The meeting will include a brief presentation by Mayor Kelly Linton and councillors highlighting recent township accomplishments, key initiatives, and council’s future priorities.

Following the presentation, participants will be invited to ask questions directly to the mayor and councillors as well as the township’s senior management team.

“The decisions made at the municipal level affect everyone and having input into those decisions and understanding their impact will help our business community.” said Janet Harrop, CWCC president.

“I am excited about our second town hall for 2015 and look forward to engaging citizens and our business community about things that matter to them. I also want to thank the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce for partnering with us to co-host this meeting,” said Linton.

He invited residents to visit the Centre Wellington Website (www.centrewellington.ca) for up to date township information and contacts.
