Centre Wellington man facing multiple sexual assault charges
CENTRE WELLINGTON – A local man has been charged with four counts of sexual assault in connection with incidents that occurred between 2021 and 2023.
Wellington County OPP officials say police started the investigation on April 27, 2023.
"A victim reported that they had been sexually assaulted multiple times between October 2021 and January 2023 in Centre Wellington," police stated in a June 22 press release.
Robert John O'Brien, 49, of Centre Wellington, was charged with four counts of sexual assault and held for a bail hearing.
