Centre hires marketing coordinator

The Elora Environment Centre has hired a new marketing coordinator through Career Focus, a program that funds organizations which create career-related work experiences for post-secondary graduates.

Bethany Mulder has accepted the position to promote programs focused on environmental initiatives like the Home Assistance Program and Take Charge electricity evaluations. She will help coordinate events for NeighbourWoods, a branch of the organization.

Mulder’s position with the Centre will run until the end of June.

“This federal funding for Career Focus is part of our government’s plan to create jobs and economic growth for younger Canadians,” said Wellington-Halton Hills MP, Michael Chong.

Mulder’s past work experience includes event promotion and marketing at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

The Elora Environment Centre is a not-for-profit organization focused on providing leadership in community-based environmental initiatives for both urban and rural communities.
