Celebrate the new look of the Erin Seniors Centre on Nov. 5

This year, the EWCS Senior’s Room received a complete makeover through the Rotary Club of Erin who held several fundraising events in order to make the Senior’s room a ‘home away from home’ for Adult Day Services participants.

This was a project that EWCS would not have been able to accomplish without the commitment from the local Rotary Club and on Nov. 5, 2014 an open house is being held to showcase the new look and to say thank you to the Rotary members.

Many members spent an entire weekend painting, installing, sweeping and so many other tasks to turn this room into something special. The open house will be at the Senior’s Room from 10am to 12:00pm (noon) at 14 Boland Drive, Erin.

“This project has been on our agency radar for so long,” said Sherri Plourde, Manager, Senior Services.

“To have one of our local service clubs want to do this for us is an incredible gift that will last for many years to come. Our program participants are thrilled and we really can’t thank our Rotary Club of Erin enough.”

Members of the community are welcome to attend the open house and find out more about programs and services, including those of our 55 Plus Club, Adult Day Services and others.

Enjoy light refreshments, entertainment and a chance to meet program staff and members of the Rotary Club.
