GUELPH – Guelph Police are investigating after two catalytic converters valued at more than $15,000 were stolen from a truck at a west-end business.

Police say a business near Woodlawn Road West and Michener Road reported on April 6 that two exhaust components had been cut off one of the trucks in their lot.

“Security video showed two individuals entering the lot through an adjacent business property at approximately 11:40pm [on April 4],” police stated in a press release. “One kept watch while the other cut the converters off the truck. Both suspects were wearing all black clothing with their faces covered and driving a red Hyundai Tucson.”
