Caressant Care launches new meal-ordering system
ARTHUR – Caressant Care celebrated Long Term Care Engagement Day on Sept. 19 with a special event showcasing some enhancements taking place.
Perth-Wellington MP John Nater and Wellington North Ward 4 councillor Steve McCabe joined our Caressant Care residents, families and team members to experience the longterm care home’s newly implemented MealSuite meal-ordering system firsthand.
A presentation was shared on how the system was launched, with residents included throughout the transition, sharing their feedback and helping make the new system a success, officials state in a press release.
To celebrate this exciting addition, Caressant Care held a grand opening, complete with decorations and a special ribbon-cutting ceremony with the residents.
Guests were invited to take part in the experience by assisting with meal orders and seeing the new technology in action.
“Our residents have shared wonderful feedback, including that the new system is ‘smooth as silk’ and makes it ‘easier and faster to get our order,’” officials state.
“We are very proud of how well this enhancement was introduced, embraced, and has flourished within our home. While today’s celebration was a little different from our past socials, we felt that experiencing the new innovations firsthand was the best way to showcase the positive changes happening at Caressant Care Arthur.
“A heartfelt thank you to John Nater, MP, Steve McCabe, Ward 4 Councillor, and everyone who joined us today in celebrating our residents, our dedicated team, and the continued growth and innovation happening here at Caressant Care Arthur.”
