Careless driving charge
PUSLINCH – A Brampton driver has been charged with careless driving after a vehicle rollover here last week.
Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch Township on July 2 at 5:30pm.
“During interactions with the driver, police formed suspicions that the driver may have consumed alcohol,” police stated in a press release. “Officers demanded the driver provide a sample of their breath into an approved screening device, which registered a warn range ‘alert’.”
Police say no injuries were reported.
A 35-year-old from Brampton received a seven-day driver’s licence suspension and was charged with careless driving.
